Making Connections and Providing Value

Throughout the summer and winter seasons, Golingua holds Professional Development Camps. Members of your team are invited to engage in a variety of valuable sessions, workshops and practicums that do more than just practice their goal language.

Professional Development Camps

We invite specialists from all over the world in areas such as workplace health and fitness, mindfulness, negotiations and tactical speaking and many more, to ensure a well-rounded presentation.

The camps usually run for 2 nights and 3 days, and are located in large resorts to ensure this is a mix of business, and pleasure.

Our 360-Degree System

We call it a 360-degree system because it considers all sides of language acquisition, circling the learning with all the tools he/she needs to be successful. Just one module, live classes for example, is great BUT without the support of the other modules, it isn’t enough. We need you to surrounded, engulfed by your new language to fully learn it.

  • Acquisition and Practice

    Here, in our Live Classes, the language and skills are learned and practiced in real ways to ensure participants can understand and speak. The live lessons can be online, or in-office and are designed to deliver the most important and relevant information to the participants.

  • Realizing and Assessing

    Self study allows participants to see what they can do when not directly guided. They take a mental inventory on what they have grasped, and what still needs to be worked on.

  • Bringing Context

    The shadowing system is the best way to bring real context to learning. Context is valuable for language learning because it is the best way to encourage retention. Consider a baby learning their mother tongue; the only reason they remember vocabulary is because it is shown to them, not translated or explained in other words.

  • Building Confidence

    Without confidence, no one can speak a foreign language. Being able to speak to your peers in an autonomous and confidential manner through our system, allows learners to truly practice their skills, without fear of being wrong. That fear is what stops so much progress. Our system takes away that aspect of fear.

  • Making Connections and Providing Value

    Training camps are a great way to practice your language in a real setting, but more importantly, this is where we connect our new skills to our work. Participants see exactly what they can do, in real life. It’s an incredible value-add and the connects are valuable as well.

  • Support and Development

    Being supported by our team, and in contact with your trainers, provides participants with a highly motivational environment. We don’t let people slack and forget their goals. The constant contact was designed to further develop participants when they aren’t in physical classes, and the motivation is a positive externality.

  • Learn what your team can do, and how they can improve

    Our Level assessment module is available for both active participants and to those companies who wish to have us aid them in their hiring/promotion processes. Participants can gauge their own levels multiple times through our easy-to-use system, allowing them to track their own progress and see what they can do.

How much are the camps?
They vary depending on location and duration, please contact us for more information and tailored pricing.
What happening in the camps?
We have a nice mix of language practice and development, professional workplace training, physical wellbeing training, team building exercises and networking. It’s a lot of fun, but you’ll leave with a lot to bring back to your organization.
Do we stay over at the camps?
Yes, most of our camps are catered by hotel groups, and the participants stay in the hotel during the program. They provide all the food and drinks and it’s a lovely retreat.
How many people need to join from each company?
We tailor the camps to you, so there are no requirements. We often do private camps for just one large company. Some camps are mixed and each company sends 2 or 3 people from the H.R. team.
Are you able to accommodate food/mobility differences?
Yes, absolutely! You must let the team know ahead of time, but we will make sure that the event and the space are well-suited to you before signing you up.
